*Can I order from both english webstores in one order?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. You can make 2 separate orders from each store and include a note at checkout alerting us and we will combine your orders (and waive the shipping charge if the combined orders are more than $40).
Do you ship?
Yes, we are proud to ship Canada-wide with Canada Post.
Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in Canada! Shipping in Quebec is free with orders over $40. For customers outside of Quebec, we will contact you once we have received your order to confirm shipping price before processing your order.
Do you offer curbside pickup?
Yes we do! Simply choose the pickup in store option. Please wait until you have received the email with reference number to be sure that your order has been processed and is ready for you. Our staff will be wearing a mask and we ask that you do too.
How long does it take for my books to arrive?
This depends on where you live. If you order a book that we have in stock, we will do our best to ship that book as soon as possible. Depending on the time of day you order, we can usually ship within 24-48 hours.
For customers in Quebec, D+Q offers free shipping for orders of 40 dollars or more in Quebec, $8 for orders under $40. For shipping to the rest of Canada, we will contact you to confirm the shipping price before packing your order.
Is it possible to ship books to locations outside Canada?
If you live in the US, please order from bookshop.org. If we have a book you can’t find anywhere else, please email email@example.com for more help. We encourage everyone outside of Montreal to order from their local bookshop, though we will happily ship across Canada.

Do you offer suggestions?
Please visit our website, which has lots of information on what books we carry and many suggestions. Our instagrams also have suggestions and feel free to message us there: 211 Bernard and La Petite at 176 Bernard. We will also answer via our twitter and facebook.

What happens if I can’t find the book I’m looking for?
Make sure you’ve spelled the name correctly. Unfortunately, our webstore needs the name to be spelled 100% correctly, or it may not be able to locate it. You can also search with an ISBN.
Can I order books even if they are not in your inventory? Can I place a special order?
At this time, it is best for us if you order books in our inventory so we can also ship them to you as fast as possible. If you do want a special order, please call us any day from 11-6.
